"We had a fantastic holiday experience at Les Ballons, we were a party of 8 adults (including one disabled) and 7 children, and the house easily accommodated us all, as well as a very impressive house we where all also blown away by the facilities on offer, we made regular use of the excellent pool, bar area, mountain bikes, tennis and badminton courts, table tennis, bbq, 5 a-side football area, and we even tried a bit of fishing down at the river, and the walled and gated gardens meant it was...

"Beware!! Do not rent this accommodation with VRBO. This is not a legitimate listing on here. We were scammed!!! We turned up and the managers knew nothing about our booking and had never used VRBO to rent it and it already had a long standing tenant there. It was a nightmare for us having to find alternative accommodation late at night after spending the whole day travelling there. It was a further nightmare trying to get the money back."

"This property should not be on vrbo site or advertised hosts were very pleasant on the phone as we were arriving late evening , very hard to find the property no number on the gate description is totally wrong near park and shops it was more like on an industrial site , eventually got into the property and was very very disappointed cleanliness was awful there was no lounge to sit and relax just two bedrooms , the bedding was appalling and was certainly not up to standard then to top it all...

"Une jolie maison. Nous étions 2 avec le même rythme de vie donc tout s'est bien passé. Il faut préciser qu'il n'y a ni Wi-Fi ni télévision ni radio, ce qui peut poser problème avec des enfants ou le télétravail... ou il faudra un gros forfait 4G. L'isolation phonique entre l'étage et le RDC est quasi inexistant donc, si qqun veut s'isoler, c'est pratiquement impossible : on entend chaque pas des personnes à l'étage. "Cette location, située dans les communs d'un magnifique château, permet une parfaite déconnexion. La région est encore peu touristique mais très riche en patrimoine culturel et naturel, parfaite pour multiplier visites et balades. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et soucieux du bien être de leur locataire. Très investis dans la vie locale, ils n'hésitent pas en faire profiter les estivants de passage."

"Disappointed with the quality of cleanliness on arrival eg BBQ, Oven, Glasses all dirty. Biggest issue however is that it is not a true 2 bedroom, be aware you have to pass through the Master bedroom to access the guest bedroom. In addition to that the Master bedroom is in essence a mezzanine above the lounge so no privacy at all. The downstairs bathroom involves going outside the house, not ideal in the night and also needs some attention eg blind to door missing (again no privacy) and drains...

"We arrived late, after driving hours through a massive storm around Poitier, only to be "greeted" by one of the most unpleasant characters I had dealt with in ages ! We may have woken him up but that is no excuse for his general behaviour and insulting comments towards my wife and I. Breakfast was basic to say the least. No plates, curdled milk, some bread, no forks not "eating" spoons for the cereals. At least the cafe machine worked."
